Story

The first issue of the socio-political newspaper Samara Review was published in 1996. The founders of the newspaper were the founders of the newspaper - V. Yu. Lebedev, A. V. Fedorov, M. N. Matveev, A. V. Boyarkin, K. P. Lange (49%) and Volgo-Kama Commercial Bank (51% ). The name of the newspaper and the logo were invented by M. N. Matveev, the concept and layout - by V. Yu. Lebedev.

For several years of its existence, the newspaper has undergone a number of fundamental changes. The creators of the newspaper gave the regional market those methods of working with information that are now used by all publications.

In 1999, the Samara Review became a symbol of the new press, freer and more open.

In 2003, the management of the publication transformed the newspaper, making it more understandable to readers: separate thematic notebooks appeared.

November 17, 2005 "Samarskoye obozrenie" began to appear twice a week - this is the first stage on the way of the newspaper's transition to a daily format.

Today "Samarskoe obozrenie" occupies a leading position in the media market of the Samara region, being not only the most circulated and voluminous publication, but also the most authoritative in the business and political life of the province.

"Samara Review" is the leading regional business newspaper published since 1996. Since November 2005, the weekly newspaper has been published twice a week: on Mondays and Thursdays.
