Regional festival-competition of children's creative projects for preschoolers and junior schoolchildren“I Explore the World” is aimed at finding preschool and younger children school age Astrakhan region, showing research activity and implementing it in their own creative products.

The purpose of the festival-competition is to develop the intellectual and creative potential of the personality of children of preschool and primary school age by improving the skills of research behavior and developing research abilities.

Children under the age of 11 can become participants in the festival-competition of projects for preschoolers and primary schoolchildren “I Explore the World” (there is no lower age limit).

Both individual participants and creative teams (up to 5 people) are allowed to participate in the festival-competition of projects for preschoolers and primary schoolchildren “I Explore the World”.

1. Dates.

• Applications for participation in the regional festival-competition of projects for preschoolers and primary schoolchildren “I Explore the World” are being accepted until March 6, 2018.
• The correspondence stage of the regional festival-competition of projects for preschoolers and primary schoolchildren “I explore the world” is held from March 7 to March 16, 2018.
• The in-person stage of the regional festival-competition of projects for preschoolers and primary schoolchildren “I Explore the World” will take place:

1. The procedure for nominating children's works for the festival-competition and their protection.

• Applications for participation in the festival-competition of creative projects of preschoolers and primary schoolchildren “I explore the world” are sent to the organizing committee of the festival-competition according to forms.
• Projects completed by children in any subject areas (directions) are accepted to participate in the festival-competition.

For each subject area, projects can be theoretical, experimental and science fiction.

• To submit a work for initial consideration, the participant only needs to send short description. The job description text is written in free form and can be illustrated by any means. For work performed with children preschool age, job descriptions can be made by teachers.

Typically such descriptions reflect:

• the motive for choosing the project topic and the significance of the design for others;
• the purpose of the work and what problems the author or authors solved;
• the hypothesis or hypotheses that were tested (if possible);
• how the research was carried out (what methods the author used, what means were involved in his work);
• what happened as a result.
  • When defending projects, it is possible to use poster presentations, multimedia presentations and video materials, layouts, etc. 5 minutes are given for defense.
  • Participants' works are assessed according to the following criteria:

Children's competitions are a place for children's fantasies and hobbies to come true. Children's competitions are about discovering young talents. Children gaining new knowledge while participating in competitions helps them become brave and active in life.

Schoolchildren from grades 1-11 can participate in competitions of the Ministry of Education in various directions school subjects and creative disciplines.
