Gold stamp ink. Alcohol based stamp ink. Water-based stamp ink for seals and stamps

All inks for stamp products are divided according to their composition: water-based, alcohol-based and oil-based inks. They can be used based on knowledge of what material the print or stamp cliché is made of and how it is combined with a particular paint composition.

Water-based stamp ink for seals and stamps

Stamp inks on water based production company COLOP (Austria)- containing glycerin, suitable for use in seals and stamps on polymer or rubber bases, because polymer and rubber under the influence of water do not lose their elasticity, resilience, do not swell, remain in their original form, and the addition of glycerin improves the quality of the printed print due to the fact that glycerin does not collect paint in one place and does not allow it to spread, distributing droplets evenly paints at the micro level and retains water in them. Water-based inks can be added to both the desktop ink pad and the removable pads that are located inside the equipment, both automatic and pocket-sized with built-in removable pads.

Water-based stamp ink produced by the company "Noris-Color” GmbH,(Germany) - colorless ultraviolet paint, which is intended for placing invisible marks on paper products or on the body. Used in all types of seals or stamps to provide protection against counterfeiting or in access systems, such as clubs, which can only be detected when illuminated by an ultraviolet lamp.

Alcohol-based stamp ink for seals and stamps

Alcohol-based stamp inks produced by the company "Noris-Color” GmbH,(Germany) - this type of ink differs from water-based paint in that it tends to dry quickly, thereby expanding the scope of application on almost all materials that require a stamp or seal: rubber, metal, plastic, ceramics, polyethylene, cardboard , plywood, fabric, etc. The only material used by stamp makers that is not compatible with alcohol inks is polymer. Upon contact with alcohol ink, the polymer is destroyed, rendering the print or stamp cliché inoperable.

Water-based stamp inks

Water-based stamp ink, suitable for office use only, i.e. making an ink impression only on a paper surface. Refills all stamp pads, both replaceable ones (for automatic equipment) and desktop ones (for manual seals and stamps). The paint is gradually absorbed into the surface of the canvas and does not smear in the future, because penetrates into the structure of the paper itself. Such paints can be used with any material for making seals and stamps (both polymer and rubber). This is exactly the ink that we use to refill stamp pads when working with seals, stamps and facsimiles. The color palette is always constant (blue, black, red, green, purple), there are no shades. And if you see a blue or gray print, this only means that the paint in the pillow was almost running out when such a print was made. A feature of water-based inks from the manufacturer Colop is the addition of glycerin; in practice, this improves the quality of the print by maintaining the uniformity of ink droplets at the micro level.

Alcohol based stamp inks

Alcohol-based stamp ink is used on non-absorbent surfaces (metal, glass, concrete, wood, plastic, polyethylene, glossy paper, fabric and much more). When making a print, the alcohol vapor immediately evaporates (from 12-65 seconds) and due to this, the paint itself dries. It is preferably tucked into desktop stamp pads and used with simple (non-automatic) equipment for seals and stamps, because Evaporation of alcohols occurs not only on the surface of the print, but also in the stamp pad itself, which means constant refilling and additional consumption of ink. Automatic equipment is inconvenient because the pad is built inside and is in constant contact with the stamp pad, and this will lead to the cliche drying to the pad, followed by contamination of the print and destruction of the stamp pad. But even in a desk pillow, alcohol-containing ink will dry out very quickly, and the pillows will become unusable, which will make them consumables (there is no other way out). For self-coloring daters that have a cushion inside, you can use special cushions made of dense material. We can make such pillows to order for any self-painting dater and numberer from our range. Alcohol paints can only be used with rubber cliches (the photopolymer absorbs alcohol vapors and deteriorates). The color palette is quite diverse (blue, black, red, green, purple, white, yellow, orange, pink, brown), there are no shades.

Modern stamp inks are available in three types: water-based, alcohol-based and oil-based. Each paint is designed for use with certain types of surfaces.

Office seals and stamps use water-based stamp ink, which adheres best to the paper surface. It is used in all types of manual and automatic equipment for seals, stamps, facsimiles, numberers and daters.

Water-based paint does not smear due to deep penetration into the paper and can be used with both rubber and photopolymer prints. The paint is available in a constant color palette, which includes black, blue, red, green, violet and ultraviolet (invisible to the eye, but glowing blue in ultraviolet rays) colors.

In our company you can purchase high-quality water-based paint Trodat, Colop in 25 ml packages and Noris in packages from 25 to 1000 ml. A special feature of Colop stamp inks is the use of glycerin in the ink composition, which contributes to the uniformity of the ink, which ultimately improves the quality of the print.

Alcohol-based stamp ink is intended for use on non-absorbent surfaces such as wood, plastic, glass, metal, fabric, etc. Alcohol-based ink is used in hand-held stamping equipment. This is due to the fact that alcohol ink evaporates quickly, and in automatic equipment the cliche can dry to the stamp pad.

Alcohol paints are presented in a rich color palette, where, in addition to the basic ones, there are colors: white, pink, brown, orange, yellow, ultraviolet (invisible to the eye, but glowing with a blue glow in ultraviolet rays).

Alcohol paints destroy the photopolymer, and therefore are used only with rubber cliches. Our company always has a wide range of alcohol-based stamp inks from Noris and Reiner.

From us you can order the production of stamps, facsimiles and seals, buy a numbering machine for any application, and consult with specialists regarding the use of consumables.

The main purpose of stamp ink is to apply seals and stamps. Fits into a desktop ink pad. The clarity and durability of the print directly depends on the quality of the ink consumable material, which has the following properties:

  • color, brightness;
  • composition (base);
  • absorbency;
  • possible shine.

It is best not to refill replacement pads with paint, but to replace them with new ones. consumables in automatic equipment. Replacement occurs when the print becomes pale and unclear.

Possible colors:

  • blue;
  • red;
  • purple;
  • black;
  • white, colorless, fluorescent, visible only in ultraviolet rays.

Water-based stamp ink

The main area of application of this type of paint is office stamps and seals. This paint can be used in removable and table cushions. It is suitable for use in both automatic and manual equipment.

Using water paint you can leave an imprint on various types paper. The paint is indelible and waterproof. Does not affect the cliche of the stamping device - it can be made of rubber or polymer.

The color palette is represented by standard colors. Manufacturers offer paints that can only be seen in ultraviolet rays.

Water based paints are not available as shades. Pink, light green, blue colors are not typical for them. If the print begins to appear in one of the shades, it means that the ink pad needs to be refilled.

Alcohol based paints

This type of paint can be used for cotton fabrics and for application to metal, glossy paper, plastic, polyethylene and polypropylene, concrete, glass and other non-absorbent materials.

Paints intended for application to fabric are resistant to boiling and bleaching. Usually the fabric is washed before marking.

Alcohol inks are used only for seals and clichés made of rubber. The photopolymer absorbs alcohol quite well, but is destroyed under its influence; such cliches quickly become unusable and lose their working qualities.

Oil based paint

This type of paint is used:

  • for numberers;
  • stamps with metal cliches;
  • for franking machines.

Oil paint is applied to absorbent material – paper. These could be labels or tickets. The paint penetrates deeply into the material, such a print is difficult to remove and cannot be washed off.

The ink dries instantly, leaving a clear, bright print.

For ease of use, many manufacturers equip their products with dispensers. The amount of paint in a bottle can vary from 28 milliliters to a liter.

Read completely

The range of applications for stamp inks is varied.
Stamp inks are divided into three types depending on the base: it can be water-based, alcohol-based or oil-based.
Each paint is designed to be applied to a specific type of surface; it is on this surface that the print will be clear and durable.
If you need stamp ink for printing or a stamp made of photopolymer, remember that alcohol inks destroy cliches made of this material. There are universal stamp inks that apply equally well and stick to almost any surface. When using alcohol-based paints, it should be taken into account that the alcohol evaporates in the stamp pad, so it is better to use stamp pads made of special material and after use, store the pad in a sealed bag, this way you can extend the performance properties of the stamp pad. We recommend using alcohol champelle paints with hand tools, because... in automatic equipment, the cliche can stick to the stamp pad
