§ 11. Lift operator
Characteristics of work. Maintenance of the lift (unit) during the work on major, current repairs and sampling (testing) of wells. Preparing the lift (unit) for work. Participation in preparatory and final work, installation and dismantling of the lift, in the equipment of the traveling system, in the installation and maintenance of auxiliary mechanisms used during the overhaul of wells (pumping unit, machine and hydraulic keys, preventer hydraulic lines and other equipment from the installation’s hydraulic system). Winch control for all hoisting operations. Control of a power electric generator installed on a lift (unit). Participation in work on capital and underground repairs of wells, in work on testing and equipment of wellheads. Monitoring the proper operation of the recorder and lift (unit) mechanisms. Keeping a log of the operation of the lift (unit). Driving a car or tractor, refueling them. Carrying out routine repairs of lift (unit), car, tractor mechanisms. Maintenance of mobile power plants with a capacity of up to 100 kW.
Must know: technological process extraction of oil, gas and other minerals; well design; technological process and types of well testing work; technical characteristics and operating rules of the tractor-lift, mobile unit, used mechanisms, devices, traveling systems; technological process and types of major and current repairs, well testing methods; brands and grades of fuels and lubricants; basics of electrical engineering and plumbing in the scope of work performed; methods for repairing the engine, transmission and chassis of lifting winches.
For underground and major repairs on wells of category I complexity and sampling (testing) of wells up to 1500 m deep inclusive - 5th category;
for underground and major repairs on wells of II category of complexity and sampling (testing) of wells with a depth of over 1500 m, directional wells regardless of their depth and wells with complicated geological conditions - 6th category;
for underground and major repairs carried out from lifting installations with a lifting capacity of 80 tons and above - 7th category.
Average required professional education.
Retraining and advanced training of aerial platform and hydraulic aerial lift operator with assignment qualification category.
Group classes or individual consultations. Training is carried out both on the basis of an educational institution and on the basis of a customer organization in any region of Belarus.
Workers who have a rank in this profession (3-7 ranks) can undergo advanced training.
Upon completion of training, state-issued documents are issued: a certificate of assignment of a qualification category in the profession.

Characteristics of the work. Control of machines and mechanisms of various types and purposes during construction, installation and repair work. Refueling vehicles with fuels and lubricants. Regulation of the working mechanisms of machines for a given operating mode. Maintenance of machines and mechanisms. Identification and elimination of malfunctions in their operation. Preventative repairs and participation in other types of repairs of serviced equipment.
Must know: device and specifications serviced machines and mechanisms; rules and instructions for their operation, maintenance and routine repairs; rules traffic when working with motorized vehicles; installed alarm system; rules of work; consumption standards for fuels, lubricants and electricity; schemes and frequency of lubrication of machine components and mechanisms; technical requirements to the quality of work performed; plumbing to the extent provided for a construction mechanic, charged at a level below the driver.
