Any company or company, any premises begins with a sign. From the very first moment you get to know the company, a sign on the door of an institution or office emphasizes its image and prestige, and simply helps you get your bearings.
In addition to the information function, plaques and signs can become an effective advertising tool and distinctive element corporate identity companies.
The types of signs are as follows - information plates, name plates, information signs, facade plates, signs.
Many people start searching for a manufacturer by searching the Internet for the following queries:
sign, making signs, whole door signs, buy signs, buy signs, door signs, etc.
But few people ask the question - is this a manufacturer or an intermediary who has no equipment at all and will sell you products three times more expensive.

Material and types of signs

There are two main materials from which signs are made - plastic and metal.

Plastic signs

Plastic signs can be made by laser engraving on plastic, which has two different colored layers - a thin top layer and a thick base layer. In this case, only two colors are possible, but if you have more than 2 colors, then we offer the direct UV printing method (you can read more below on this page).
Making signs on plastic happens as follows:
The laser burns out the top layer until the bottom main color layer appears. This is very fast and inexpensive when you have no more than 2 colors in your layout.
The thickness of 2-layer plastic can be 1.5mm for interior spaces And 3 mm for outdoor areas. The surface of 3 mm plastic is covered with a protective layer that is resistant to the city atmosphere.
The most popular sizes of plates: - 500x400 mm, 400x300 mm, 300x300 mm, 300x200 mm, 300x150 mm, 300x100 mm, 200x100 mm, 150x100 mm, 200x 50 mm, standard size information signs 150 x 150 mm.
The size of the products can be any size of your choice, but not exceeding maximum dimensions- 600 x 450 mm.
Mounting methods: signs are attached to the wall or door with special, high-strength tape, or using holders or dowels.

A large plastic manufacturer, Rowmark (USA), supplies about 300 types of plastic for laser and mechanical engraving. For ease of selection, all materials for engraving are divided into series, which have their own colors, thicknesses and physical properties.
Unlike cheap 2-layer plastics, Rowmark plastic has excellent quality, a large selection of colors and good wear resistance.

Ritual tablets

Ritual nameplates carry information about those who are buried in the grave.
We produce such plates using engraving technology, they are all durable and do not require updating; it is possible to add decorative and religious elements, frames, photographs, and images.
Please note that finished products are available in only two colors - the background is one color, the text is another, for example, the background is gold, the inscriptions and design are black. Below are the most popular plastic colors.

The plastic is metallized and looks like metal, but it is a very practical material, does not deform and can withstand the effects of ultraviolet radiation and the external weather conditions of Russia (frost, heat, rain). The manufactured ritual tablet will not lose its original appearance: the image will not be washed off or erased, as it is embedded deep into the plastic. It won't be stolen since it's not metal. The most popular products are sizes 30x20cm and 30x15cm, but they can be customized. The cost of making ritual tablets depends on the area occupied. The presence of a frame around the perimeter increases the cost of the sign by 50%. There is also urgent production within 2 hours upon approval of the layout (check the possibility with managers and depends on the equipment load). If you need holes for fastening, please indicate the size of the holes or you can make them yourself using a regular drill.

Metal signs

Brass plate- the most popular type of metal signs, has a polished surface and polished chamfers.
The brass plate is made of polished brass, made in Germany.
Has a polished surface and polished chamfers. The thickness of the plate is 3 mm.
The design and text are deeply engraved and the relief is filled with black or colored enamel.
The image/text is made by etching or mechanical engraving, with the relief filled with black or colored enamel.
The brass plate is made by us from polished brass, made in Germany.

Distinctive features brass plates:

  • Mirror diamond polishing.
  • Ideal flat surface.
  • Deep color fill.
  • Decorative chamfer has a polished surface and polished chamfers.

The maximum size of brass products is 500 x 450 mm. Most popular sign sizes(may be different upon request):
500x400 mm, 400x300 mm, 300x200 mm, 300x150 mm, 300x100 mm, 150x100 mm, custom size
Mounting methods: using double-sided tape, screws with a decorative head or spacer holders. The signs can be framed with beautiful and high-quality Nielsen aluminum frames in various colors.
Duration from 10 days depending on complexity.

External signs (signs) for institutions

Mostly, signs similar to those in the photo shown are ordered government agencies and they are made 60x80 cm in size from PVC, framed with a Nelson profile, with anti-vandal outer plexiglass.
The cost of signs very much depends on the circulation or number of pieces, for example, a similar sign of 1 piece will cost 4500 rubles, and with a quantity of 10-15 pieces the cost is already 3000 - 3500 rubles.
Making plastic signs from plastic takes much less time and is cheaper in cost than from brass or other metals. This advantage of this material is used in cases where it is necessary to complete an urgent order at a budget price. Light in weight, easy to install, resistant to impact environment, expressive and memorable - and this is only part of the advantages of this type of product.

Sign mounts

One of the options is the BULLET LUX anti-vandal holder designed for attaching information signs at a distance from the wall. It consists of two elements: a housing that is attached to the wall, and a screw that holds the sign in place. Color gold, silver set 4 pcs.

Multi-color plates, full-color printing on any surface

Modern technology that allows you to apply full-color images to any type of surface, such as glass, mirror, plexiglass, wood, plastic, foam cardboard and rolled materials. This is especially in demand when it is necessary to combine several multi-colored images in one product.
PVC is mainly used as the main material. polymer material(thermoplastic). PVC is highly resistant to mechanical damage and is a highly flammable and self-extinguishing material. It is resistant to alkalis, acids, lime, as well as atmospheric influences and is absolutely harmless to humans.
Advantages:
special UV-curable paints are used to form a film, which is subsequently firmly fixed to the base, i.e. During printing, the ink does not penetrate into the structure of the material, but instantly hardens under the influence of UV lamps.
When using UV printing, there is no longer a need for additional protective laminating film, which significantly saves costs. The image applied to the surface is capable of maintaining the brightness and saturation of colors for quite a long time, and can withstand high operating loads, temperature changes, and weather conditions such as snow, rain or solar radiation.
It is also important that, compared to traditional printing, UV printing can be used completely freely in any interior without fear of emitting harmful fumes.

Requirements for layouts for “direct UF printing”

Our company produces OWN PRODUCTIONplaques and signs high level of quality from various materials: metal, plastic, plexiglass.
The cost calculation will mainly be entered based on the total area of the product. If there is a frame made of 2-layer plastic, the price increases by 50%. If there is a frame made of brass, its price increases by 25%.

You can order the production of plates and signs, and any engraving on plastic in the online store.

We are pleased to offer our clients a new service - production of signs, office plates and signs, which are made of special two-layer plastic with a thickness of 1.5 mm or 3 mm using laser engraving. Plastics have a distinct metallic color like gold, silver, bronze, copper, steel, nickel.

Plates and signs made from this plastic do not fade and have a bright and respectable appearance.
The technology for applying graphic information is laser engraving, which allows you to reproduce information and logos from high accuracy. Signs and plaques can have standard or custom sizes and shapes.

It is very easy to attach the sign to a wall or door - you need to use screws or double-sided mounting tape. It is also possible to use shaped fasteners and decorative elements to attach the sign at some distance from the wall.
Facade signs are made of plastic for outdoor use, have a hard coating, are highly resistant to abrasion, corrosion, ultraviolet radiation, and humidity.

Below are the main colors of plastic for making signs and plates:

Internal office signs and signs.

Office signs, signs and indicators of this series are manufactured made of two-layer metal-colored plastics for indoor or outdoor use, depending on operating conditions. The thickness of the plastics is 1.5 mm. The signs are light in weight and can be easily secured using double-sided tape without the use of special tools.

The price for making signs is 2.5 rubles per sq.cm of product. For example, a sign 20cm x 30cm = 600x2.5 = 1500 rubles.

Stages of work

What is important to know when ordering signs

Consider the service life and operating conditions.

All materials and application methods have their own service life. Nothing is eternal and over time, any material is destroyed. "Stressful" factors for signs: moisture (rain, snow, water), UV radiation, aggressive substances (acids, alkalis).
For example, applying film to a PVC sign is one of the most cost-effective options for making signs. But! The service life of self-adhesive film is on average up to 3 years. Plus, since this is an applique, the film is glued to the surface of the plastic and is not protected from vandalism. Therefore, such a sign is an excellent temporary option, if we talk about street conditions, and is suitable for permanent basis, if you need a sign for your office.
Let's consider another option, UV printing on a composite. The composite is a sheet material, aluminum with a colored polymer coating on the edges, and plastic in the center. Thanks to this design, it is lightweight and quite durable, while maintaining a low cost. UV printing is not afraid of moisture and sunlight, only a rough abrasive effect can spoil such an image. Therefore, a composite sign is an ideal solution for budget street signs. This is often done when making warning signs and safety signs.

If you have a drawing, provide it first.

If you have special requirements, indicate them at the beginning of the conversation. The more complete the list of requirements for the sign, the more effective the interaction with the manager will be.

If you have Brand Book, inform the manager about this at the stage of choosing the material

Getting the color to a certain specified shade is a separate task for production. Each material has its own texture and color. Each printing method works in its own color scheme. For example, powder paints are supplied in RAL colors. If, according to Brand Book, the color is indicated in Pantone, and you want the plate painted with powder, the manager will tell you that finding an identical shade in RAL is a great success.
When coordinating a color, you can always make a color proof. It will allow you to decide on the final shade and select equipment settings to order.

Plan to order signs in advance

Our company provides an urgent production option. If you need to meet a specific date, we are ready to make every effort to produce the signs on time. But you must understand that in this case, firstly, the number of options for technologies and materials will be reduced. For each technology, the production cycle takes a certain time, which cannot be reduced. Secondly, the price for urgent production is higher. And thirdly, if samples are required, we will not have time to make them.

If you did not find an example of a sign among our options

Connect a manager. Perhaps we did something similar and the manager will send photos of examples. If you haven’t done it, we’re ready to experiment!
