Master class on scrapbooking: Autumn card. Postcard “Farewell autumn” in the style of mixed media Scrapbooking autumn theme

Autumn, the most beautiful time of the year! Despite the fact that it is cool and rainy outside, autumn warms us with its colors. Personally, I like to admire this riot of colors of nature: yellow, red, burgundy, brown... they seem to compensate for the lack of sun and warm you mentally...
Standing by the window and looking at all the beauty, I decided to make a warm and colorful card. I hope you enjoy the scrapbooking master class of autumn cards.

To create a scrapbooking master class postcard I used:
- paper;
- breadboard knife;
- self-healing mat;
- ruler;
- glue;
- decorative cutting “twig”;
- decorative leaves of different sizes and different colors;
- decorative flowers of different sizes and different colors;
- hole-punching “butterfly”;
- silicone stamp;
- stamp pads of different colors.

1. I chose the paper for a very long time and carefully, I wanted it to correspond to autumn. After I selected the paper, I cut out the blanks to the sizes I needed.

2. Then I tinted the edges of the paper: on the yellow paper I tinted the edges with white, and on the colored background I tinted the edges with orange. I left it to dry so that the paint wouldn’t smudge when gluing it on.

3. When the paint had dried, I carefully glued the paper on top of each other and began to design the card. First I glued on a decorative twig, then I started gluing on the leaves.

4. Then I started gluing the flowers. The legs (wire) need to be cut so that the flower sticks well to the paper and then does not fall off.

5. The postcard is almost ready! All that remains is to put the inscription with a silicone stamp and glue the butterfly. I colored the “butterfly” cutout with brown and orange paint, folded the wings a little - our butterfly is ready!
Here is the result:

6. I hope that I managed to convey all the warmth and beauty of autumn! My scrapbooking master class of postcards “Autumn” is inspired by golden autumn.

Every mother needs to know:

Cardmaking (making postcards) is one of the types of scrapbooking. We are all familiar with this type of creativity since childhood, in kindergarten and at school we made cards for our parents, and they still keep them. Even if they were funny, not entirely smooth, they were made with soul and love. I would like to bring to your attention a tutorial on how to make a simple, not difficult to make, DIY scrapbooking postcard. ...

How you want to hold on to the moments that make your heart skip a beat with a feeling of happiness. But you can photograph such moments and, using small memorable details, make a photo album with your own hands for the child. Such work will be the most touching in your family archive! ...

Ends last month autumn, everyone has already started preparing for the new year, and I want to show you a master class on creating a postcard without scrap paper. I was inspired to create this card by the autumn maple leaves that my son and I collected back in September.

You are ready? Then let's begin!

To create a postcard we will need:

  • watercolor paper
  • mask (stencil)
  • texture paste
  • palette knife
  • sprays
  • stamp
  • ink
  • acrylic paint
  • raffia
  • paper flowers and leaves
  • chipboard
  • twig with stamens
  • acrylic droplets
  • blank for postcard

We remove everything that might get dirty from the work surface and place a mat. To prevent droplets of the spray from scattering, place a sheet of A3 paper folded in half on the side of the mat (put it at an angle), and we will spray the spray in this corner. Instead of paper and a mat, you can use a box.

Place the sheet watercolor paper and start splashing. I took 3 colors: red, orange and yellow.

Let's start creating a three-dimensional background and to do this, use a mask and a palette knife to apply texture paste.

We wait for the texture paste to dry completely and use a stamp and ink to make background prints. To ensure that the print on the paper is not bright, first we stamp once on the draft (do not press on the stamp), and a second time with the same stamp with the remaining ink we stamp on the background paper. The print is slightly noticeable.

Let's start painting the chipboard. I painted mine with white acrylic paint.

After the chipboard has completely dried, glue it to the background paper.

Let's start decorating the card. First we try everything on and then glue it on.

Now we glue our beauty to the base and the card is ready!

Inspiration and happy creativity to everyone!

Master Class:

autumn scrapbooking card “Happy Teacher's Day!”

We all love to wander through the autumn park, admire the colors of autumn, and often, returning from walks, we bring home bouquets of luxurious foliage... There are so many shades you can see in the autumn leaves! I propose, by working a little magic on the leaves, to make a beautiful autumn scrapbooking a postcard for the upcoming holiday - Teacher's Day.

So let's begin! On a fine day, we go to the park and collect leaves for drying, choosing the most interesting in color. Since the postcard is small in size, we choose small leaves.

You can dry them in various ways: in a book, in a special press, or simply by ironing them. The last method is faster, so we will use it. We will iron the leaves not through newspaper, but through light paper, so as not to leave traces of printing ink.

We check the condition of our leaves - a well-dried leaf rustles.

When natural material ready, choose the autumn leaves you like and make a sketch of the postcard.

Let's prepare the remaining materials and tools necessary to create a Teacher's Day card:

— olive-colored designer cardboard for the postcard base (the folded size of the postcard will be 130×180 mm);

- yellow cardboard - for the background on which the composition will be assembled (you will need a slightly smaller blank - 120×170 mm);

- some light thick paper for pastels or watercolors;

- an ordinary stationery hole punch and a figured hole punch “Chamomile”;

- embossing stick with a round tip;

- ruler, stationery knife and scissors;

— glue “Moment-crystal”;

- lamination bags (an iron will come in handy again);

- watercolor pencils or orange Distress stamp pad.

First of all, we need to preserve dried autumn leaves from mechanical damage. And we will do this using lamination. This operation can be performed at home. We will need bags for lamination (you can buy them at a print shop; 1-2 bags will be enough).

Open the bag and put the dried material there.

Iron it with an iron. In order not to spoil it (overheated laminate warps), we also iron it through paper. Set the iron's thermostat to "silk".

We check it against the light - air bubbles are visible.

We turn up the heat a little more and move the tip of the iron closer to the contours of the sheet...

Good now.

We cut out the laminated leaves along the glued part. The most convenient way to do this is with nail scissors.

I decided that I would make a card in warm colors, so I chose olive-colored designer cardboard for the base of the scrapbooking postcard, and yellow for the background on which the composition would be assembled. But when I put the leaves on paper, I came to the conclusion that the background needed to be warmer, not so contrasting. I decided to tint it orange. For this I used stamp ink Distress, but you can tint the paper with watercolors.

We will also tint light thick paper (I use pastel paper). And from it we will cut “daisies” using a hole punch.

In addition, I cut “daisies” from green paper.

To prevent the “daisies” from being completely flat, we give them volume. To do this, on a rubber cushion, we go over the flower with an embossing stick with a round tip from the center to the edges of the petals. Then we turn the flower over and emboss its center in a circular motion. As a result, our flowers acquire a beautiful shape and volume.

Next, on the back side of the background, using a knitting needle, a non-writing pen or an embossing stick (bulk), we draw a double strip along each edge to create a kind of embossed frame (it is clearly visible in the photo below).

Then we place our twig on the background and create a mask - we pass the stamp pad over the laminated material and around, while part of the background under the twig remains untinted.

We are preparing more paper parts. We cut out the backing for the inscription, align the corners, and tint it. You can print the inscription itself or write it yourself.

Cut thin strips of olive-colored paper 0.5-0.8 mm(these will be curls for the twigs), and use a hole punch to make circles - the centers for paper flowers.

We apply the laminated leaves to the background in accordance with the sketch. Glue them, moving them slightly relative to the mask. This will create a glow effect and visually add volume.

We also lay out flowers and curls. If everything suits you, glue it on. Let's see what happens.

I would also like to add volume to the embossed frame - carefully go over it with a sponge.

Since the base of our scrapbooking cards is olive green, the same color needs to be introduced into the decor. This is why we made flower centers and thin curls from olive paper. Now let’s glue them, as well as the inscription “Happy Teacher’s Day!”

Almost done. Left to do interior design postcards. We use the remaining materials for this.

That's all it really is now. You can congratulate your favorite teacher beautiful postcard with autumn leaves!

Agree, a very interesting and effective version of a postcard for Teacher’s Day!

But we have one more addition to our small holiday collection (from scrapbooking cards and cards with quilling decor) - these are cards using the paper cutting technique. Anna Shidenko prepared templates for them especially for the upcoming celebration. Her work is already familiar to many from the Country of Masters (where Anya is “registered” under the name annalita), as well as from e-books with cutting patterns “New Year’s patterns” and “27 ways to confess your love”.

Cutting patterns:

I think the technology for making such carved cards is well known to most. You need to print out the diagram (it’s better to do this on regular office paper), then cut it out, punch it and fold it into a card made of thick colored pastel paper or designer cardboard, then glue an insert of a contrasting color inside.

And this is a pop-up insert for a postcard for Teacher’s Day, the base of which can be decorated, for example, using scrapbooking or cutting techniques, according to your taste. The template for the insert is also in the file.

I wish you fruitful preparations for the upcoming holiday and always good mood, despite the vagaries of the weather and autumn vitamin deficiencies! :)

Your Inna Pyshkina.

Good afternoon, dear girls! As always, for some reason, summer flew by unnoticed (maybe this is only in Siberia?). And now in nature, and in each of us, a new stage begins - AUTUMN. Some people have children going to kindergarten or school (institute), some are starting to make preparations for the winter, as a good housewife should be, and others may decide to organize a photo shoot for themselves or their family on a fine autumn day - and that’s already becomes a reason to create an album.
Let's see what scrap crafters associate autumn with and what techniques can be used to design autumn pages in albums.
First, let's try to name the signs of autumn and what may be associated with it:

  • yellowed and reddened leaves
  • flock of birds flying south
  • dry grass
  • ripe rowan
  • mushrooms
  • tree branches without leaves
  • autumn flowers that are about to fall under the first frost
  • trees in general (as a silhouette) without leaves
  • rain and cloudy skies
  • timid sun and cold transparent sky
  • names and journaling related to school, September 1 and Teacher's Day, in the fall.
  • in America - Halloween with pumpkins, ghosts
  • warm color palette using orange, yellow, brown, burgundy and moss. In America, purple and black colors are still being actively introduced here.

For someone autumn theme It becomes difficult precisely because of the color palette, but don’t be afraid, let’s look together for ways to solve this autumn problem! Let's look at examples of work.

Here they are - complex orange shades! The prints of white paint seemed to add a morning dose of autumn fog to the work. The torn edge technique and toned edges are also associated with autumn leaves, which gradually begin to dry out and curl into a tube.

Of course, the butterflies still fly, but they are no longer the same, but slightly faded. They will probably soon gather in a flock and fly like birds to warmer climes. The color brown actively comes into play and, in combination with olive, reminds us of the coming autumn. And of course, the baby hiding behind a pile of autumn leaves tells us this.

“Leaf fall, leaf fall, soon there will be a bare garden” - I remember lines from a kindergarten rhyme, looking at the silhouette of a tree that is leaving autumn leaves. Look how gloomy and rainy the sky is in this work. And pumpkins on orange leaves show how generous this autumn has become

In this work you can get acquainted with an example of interesting magazines and autumn headlines. If the curls at the bottom of the work were white, we would think that winter is coming, and the brown color keeps us in the kingdom of autumn. Remember about the silhouettes of trees in warm shades?!

The endless theme of leaf fall will give scope to your imagination on the autumn pages. And purple berries reminiscent of rowan will become a bright autumn accent and additional texture.
Images of the Owl, as a symbol of knowledge, also fit well with our theme.

Wonderful faded green color combined with cool brown and purple make this page soft, rich and sophisticated, as if it is enveloped in the transparent autumn air.

And this wonderful work is also successfully built on contrasts. Look at the opposites - a lot of free space, but the top and bottom of the work are saturated; cold colors in the photo and warm colors in the background of the page; calm background and bright volumetric, and in large quantities, accents.

Careless strokes of white paint and rough rope are associated with the brutal inevitability of autumn changes. What bloomed and shone in summer loses its chic and shine, but acquires autumn calm and charm.

Autumn is rich in bright colors. But we don’t always perceive them with joy, because, despite all this autumn beauty, sometimes it can be very cold, especially if the heating has not yet been turned on. And also slush and torrential rains... This is why in the fall the feeling of fatigue, bad mood and, as a result, depression are so exacerbated.

But my Aunt Alla found an excellent cure for autumn blues. These are bright. The source of inspiration for her was autumn leaves, with the help of which she so deftly and skillfully creates unusual cards. Plus, this idea is just what you need for spending time with your kids on cold autumn evenings.

Try it, it’s not difficult at all, but it’s very exciting!
